re:publica (3) - Das Internet: Menschen und Liebe

Nun ist es vorbei und ich befinde mich wieder auf der Heimreise.
Es waren drei wundervolle, themenreiche, erlebnisreiche aber auch anstrengende Tage.
Ich hatte, bevor ich gefahren bin natürlich Hoffnungen, wie es dort wohl sein würde, allerdings hatte ich, wenn ich es mir genau überlege, eigentlich keine allzu konkreten Erwartungen.
Meine Gefühlslage im Vorfeld war ein wenig so, wie auch das Internet ist. Ein Grundrauschen der Themen die mich interessieren, im weitesten Sinne das Feld "Politik & Gesellschaft" und die Frage "Wie geht Gesellschaft im Internet" und "Was macht das Internet mit der Gesellschaft".

Diese Themenfelder wurden für mich persönlich auf das Beste bedient.

Ob es um die Frage geht, ob wir eine #digitalcharta brauchen und wenn ja, wie diese gestaltet sein müsste, ob es darum geht, wie das Internet den politischen Diskurs verändert (Stichwort Fake-News und Filterbubble) oder die Frae, wie wir das Internet nutzen können, um uns für eine bessere Gesellschft einzusetzen und zu vernetzen. All das sind quasi "natürliche" Themen der re:publica.

Es ist gar nicht zu beschreiben, was man da alles sehen und hören konnte, welche Begegnungen da möglich sind.
Dazu nimmt man sich am Besten einfach das Programm der re:publica zur Hand und studiert es einmal in Ruhe. Ein Angebot vin mehr als 500 Speakern und Speakerinnen ist jedenfalls beeindruckend, da sollte also wirklich für jeden etwas dabei sein.

Es war auch schön, Personen die man aus dem Internet kennt, denen man auf Facebook, Twitter und Co. folgt, auch einmal Live und in Farbe sehen zu können. Und hey - "internetprominente" scheinen mir sehr viel mehr "normale" Menschen zu sein als vielleicht andere Promis (jaja - ich weiss, eine These und vlt auch ein Klischee).
Was ich aber damit sagen will - man fühlt sich wohl.

Ich sagte es bereits - dort trifft man Menschen aus aller Welt, aller Nationen und aller Profession. Und ausnahmslos alle sind freundlich und gut gelaunt. Die Stimmung auf der re:publica habe ich daher als etwas ganz besonderes und auch wertvolles empfunden. Denn das "Internet" - am Ende des Tages gibt es das nämlich gar nicht. Das sind alles Menschen wie Du und ich. Nur machen die halt alle auch ganz unterschiedliche Dinge, tun das aus unterschiedlichen Absichte heraus und mit unterschiedlichen Mitteln und Methoden.

Und so stand ich gestern am Abend noch draussen vor der Tür und genoss die letzten Augenblicke bevor ich mich auf den Weg zu meiner Schlafstätte machte.
Ich stand also da und lauschte dem Stimmengewirr, dem Gemurmel und Gelächter, dem Klappern der Bierkästen und Kühlschranktüren. Überall Menschen in kleinen Gruppen die sich unterhielten und miteinander lachten oder auch lauthals diskutierten und in diesem Moment dachte ich - das ist das Internet!
Partygemurmel, Gespräche, Diskussionen und jede Menge Begleitgeräusche.
Versucht es mal bei Eurer nächsten Party, beim nächsten Kongress oder wo immer Ihr einfach in einer großen Menge Menschen stehen könnt.
Stellt Euch einfach mal mittenrein, schliesst die Augen und lasst die Geräusche auf Euch wirken.

Dieses Geplapper, Gerede, das Klappern im Hintergrund und das Rauschen einer Menschenmenge. Wies aufwogt und lauter wird, wie es leiser wird und vielleicht von ferne ein Lachen zu Euch dringt.

Genau so ist das Internet und was wir nicht vergessen sollten - das Internet, das Alles sind Menschen. Menschen die sich kennen, die sich erst kennenlernen, die eine Meinung haben und Gefühle, Wünsche und Sehnsüchte haben. Und Sorgen natürlich auch.

Das Internet ist nicht nur Technik und Anwendungen und schicke Grafik.

Das Internet, das sind die Menschen, die sich darin austauschen.

Das sind Du und Ich.
